Working principle
Mechanical contact type: When the button is pressed, the moving contact contacts the static contact, the circuit is turned on, and an electrical signal is sent to the control system; after releasing it, the spring resets and the contact is disconnected.
Touch induction type: There is no physical button, and the finger touch is detected through capacitive induction (similar to the touch screen of a mobile phone), triggering the signal to be sent, with a longer life (no mechanical wear), which is commonly used in high-end elevators.

Emergency button:
Emergency call button (usually red, marked with "Emergency Call" or "SOS"): connected to the elevator monitoring room or property management, press to trigger a voice call or alarm signal, used for emergency help.
Emergency stop button (some elevators have it, red mushroom head style, need to rotate and pull out to reset): only used in extreme danger, press to stop the elevator (unnecessary operation is prohibited).
Other function keys: such as special buttons for the disabled (with barrier-free function), special buttons for fire (used in fire state), elevator lock buttons (used by property management or administrators, need to unlock with a key), etc.
